Sheboygan, WI -- Muth Mirror Systems is adding a forward face signal to select Signal® mirrors. Vehicles that use Street Scene Equipment's Cal-Vu mirrors can have this extra safety feature that also gives an innovative look.

The Cal-Vu line of sport compact mirrors are primarily made for use on light duty trucks and SUV's. The red through the glass Signal® mirror version has been available since December of 2000 and has become one of their most popular accessories. The new forward face signal will compliment that signal. Amber in color, the new signal will be displayed forward through a distinctive lens in the housing designed in an attention-getting shape.

Signal® mirrors alert drivers in a vehicle's "blind spots" to help prevent accidents. The new forward face signal will increase the safety aspect of the product by also alerting drivers approaching the vehicle. When a turn signal is activated, or when the hazard lights are on, both signals will flash.

Every Cal-Vu Signal Mirror® kit ordered with the forward face signal will include a pair of mirrors with housings, a wiring kit and installation instructions. Professional installation is recommended. These new kits are targeted to be available in April 2003.
