Dear C Ru,

Thanks for the inquiry!

Currently, blind spot detection systems are only available as original equipment features. We do not have an aftermarket system at this time.

The display is the portion we manufacture for many automakers, but it is only part of the system. There are other components which are built into the vehicle, like the sensors and electronics, which sense the vehicle in the blind spot and send the information to light up the mirror display.

I want to buy a 2012 Lexus that doesn't have blind spot display. Can I buy the Muth Mirror System for this car in Phoenix Arizona or Palo Alto California and have it installed?

Dave,

Thanks for your question.

The system you have is for a park assist, not blind-spot detection. It may be possible we could make to work in conjunction with this unit, but it wouldn't be a blind-spot one. However, we would need much more data about the system...

I have purchased an aftermarket product; SKYEYES Parking Senor System. The system has a total of eight (8) sensors (4 front & 4 back) with distance sensitivity up to 1.6 meters. The system claims dual CPU's with real-time response, weatherproof & is compatible with all vehicles. the display is an LED that identifies distance numerically (meters or feet). Do you know if this product would be compatible with your Blind Spot Detection Display?

I have installed the Signal® mirrors on my 1998 Mustang. They work great & have been extremely beneficial on numerous occasions. I look forward to seeing the aftermarket BSDD product. You have proven quality & excellence performance standards.

Lisa,

Thanks for the question. I know there are some Nissan models which offer or will offer this, but I'm not sure if that particular model offers the blind-spot detection. Your best bet would be to visit your local dealership and discuss it with them in more detail.

Is your blind-spot detection available in new 2011 Nissan Altimas? I am looking for a new car and would really like the blind spot detection in it.

Dear Len,

Thank you for your inquiry!

Currently, we only offer the BSDD technology via the original equipment market. It is only part of a complete blind-spot detection system. We do not have a complete system to offer in the aftermarket.
